runc · rootless · OCI

From dev to prod in one space.

One tool. No daemon, no Dockerfile, no cluster. Build, run and ship rootless OCI images straight from your machine — the same space carries you from local to production.

The whole toolchain, pulled into one.

A different surface for dev, CI, preview and prod — each wired to the next. One Space collapses all of it into a single runtime.

The problem

Today a developer juggles a local environment, Docker Compose, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, a staging box and production — each one different. The result is familiar:

  • “works on my machine”
  • CI breaks while local passes
  • version & port conflicts
  • time lost waiting on pipelines
  • operational complexity

One definition. dev → ci → prod.

The Space holds code, dependencies, services, databases and secrets — one isolated environment that runs locally, passes CI and goes to production. Nothing to rewrite in between.

~/billing-api
$ sklp run ci
→ same space · rootless
✓ lint · test · build
✓ image built — no Dockerfile
~/billing-api
$ sklp deploy
→ same space · one node
✓ OCI image pushed
✓ live — no cluster

A dev environment, a CI and a production shouldn’t be three different systems. They should be the same Space.

One Space everywhere.
